A bill to protect gun owners’ rights is up for discussion in the State House.
Earlier this evening, the insurance and banking subcommittee chairmen approved a bill which proposes insurers would not be allowed to discriminate against gun owners in the state.
The argument for the bill is that it would be a preemptive motion to ensure insurance companies were not denying insurance from those who have guns.
The bill will have to go through two more committees before it hits the house floor.
