Tallahassee, FL – Activists and some community members are planning a protest for two brothers who they believe were wrongly convicted in a fatal shooting.
In February, Antonio and Rodrizgus Richardson were convicted of killing 22-years-old, James Bryant, on January 16, 2010 at a McDonalds drive-thru.
The brothers were sentenced to life in prison for the murder and 25 years for shooting Bryant’s friend in the foot.
Protestors believe the Richardson brothers were wrongfully convicted and should receive a new trial.
The rally is today at the Leon County Courthouse at 11 am.
The Richardson brothers’ attorneys have appealed their conviction on first-degree murder charges.
