Tallahassee, FL – A former Mayor of Tallahassee has just been sworn in at city hall again, this time, as a city commissioner.

Scott Maddox easily won the district one seat on election day.

He was surrounded by his family friends in a swearing-in ceremony at city hall.

Maddox had been mayor of tallahassee from 1996 until 2003.

The 44 year old replaces retiring Commissioner Mark Mustian.

Maddox is certainly excited about returning to politics within the city.

Maddox is an attorney, and he says he is looking forward to bringing many more jobs to Tallahassee.

Andrew Gillum was also sworn in as a City Commissioner this afternoon, he was just re-elected to a second term.
