One scenario has all five Tallahassee City Commission seats up for grabs at once

Though the 2012 campaign has just ended, talk has already begun about Tallahassee’s 2014 mayoral race and the possibility that three city commissioners may want to run.
Mayor John Marks could opt to seek a fourth term, and Scott Maddox, elected Tuesday to Seat 1, could decide he wants to return to the leadership-mayor post he once pushed for and held. City Commissioner Andrew Gillum, who easily won re-election in the August primary, may also have his eyes on the seat.
At this point, none of the three are willing to rule in or out a mayoral run.
Marks, still contesting ethics charges over voting-conflict allegations, said 2014 mayoral talk is premature.
