BREAKING NEWS: Corizon deal signed, state workers lose jobs As Preston told you on TMS, the privatizing company in prison health care was not focused on South Florida, but Central and North Florida. City Commission candidate Scott Maddox said he was out to protect state jobs in a campaign mailer, yet listed Corizon as one of his major sources of income. Well, 1800 plus state workers in our region just got notices and their jobs are gone in January.
