TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – Campaigning is expected to go until the very end in the race for Tallahassee City Commission.
Current Commissioner, Mark Mustian, is retiring at the end of his term.
Former Mayoral Candidate Steve Stewart and former Tallahassee Mayor Scott Maddox are both vying for the job.
Each say in their one-on-one interviews during WTXL’s “Your Question Your Candidate Your Vote’, that they have the experience and knowledge to serve on the commission and to push the city forward.
Stewart says as a commissioner he would also serve to restore ethics and transparency into local government and ensure taxpayer dollars are being spent wisely.
Maddox says creating jobs is one of his top priorities. Maddox says he’d also work to help draw more air service to Tallahassee Regional Airport and to help create lower fares.
