I was just recently reading the facebook page of Preston Scott:

I think being Sheriff is a much more administrative type of job. I don’t see Sheriff Campbell out kicking butts and bashing heads on the streets for making criminal arrests everyday, nor do you hear of such actions. The news about him has certainly not been in favor of great leadership at LCSO. The Sheriff’s Office needs a strong new leader.
The post on facebook by Preston Scott and responses are surprising as there are so much more important issues at stake with the Sheriff’s office leadership for crimes and unethical conducts being covered up that should be brought to justice.
Having patrol experience on the streets is good for a Sheriff but it should be the least of the issues at hand discussed by Preston. When you have someone as smart and qualified as Lisa, they move up the ranks pretty quick so being a patrol officer probably hasn’t been a high priority for her during her 30+ year career. Big difference between a rookie patrol officer and an experienced Sheriff of numerous knowledge and qualifications.
