Last night at the country club forum, I was in attendance with my camera running while watching and listening as Lisa Sprague and Larry “Boss Hog” Campbell gave us the audience some insight as to their backgrounds and education.

Nothing noteworthy occurred unless you were as I was, listening intently. It was during Larry’s speech that I caught an interesting insight as to his personal concern that his race needed some qualification. He stated that he had received a letter, “unsolicited and to his surprise from a retiring official complimenting him on his budget stuff or some bullshit story in an attempt to add credibility to his work and why he should be re-elected”.

To a well trained ear, he is very concerned as to the election and hopes by name dropping he can overcome his fear of his candidates’ firm lead on him.

I detected misleading and deceitfulness in his speech. At times his thought process became overwhelmed and disrupted to the point there were gaps, pauses in his delivery. Oh yes he was in full uniform, GUN and all.

One note stuck out like a purple pig in a field of clover and that was his pronunciation of the word, “LEON” as in Leon County. As educated as he claims to be, he cannot pronounce a simple four letter word. He says “Lien or Lynn” or some variation of the word.

Some may think this is merely a speech impediment however as I have heard from many, he refuses to pronounce the word as it references a “black man’s name”.

I have also learned by some deputies, (as they do not want to be identified) that they have been corrected by Larry when they properly pronounce the word.

My sources went on further to say that he references young “black men” as “willies”.

In conclusion, Does LEON COUNTY really want or deserve four more years of this Sheriff when Forbes says we are the Eighth Most Dangerous Place To Live In America? Are we going for a higher rating or have we had enough?

It’s time for change! It’s time to break up the good ole boys clubhouse! It’s time to stop the hate’n and racist behavior at the top! Then maybe Tallahassee will once again become a safe place where anyone can walk down the street and we all know them and say, there is a Good and Godly person.

In follow up it just so happens that I have learned that the Democratic Party conducted their own poll and of course they aren’t releasing the results but Lisa Sprague is ahead by 7%- 10% on the points spread. Go Lisa! But this is not time to relax as the race battles on…

On another front, the Democratic Party is also soon to release flyers with the names of those running on the democratic ticket and GREAT PRESSURE is being put on the democratic card holders to vote their party or RESIGN THE PARTY. Yes if you are a democrat you are to vote for all those running for the party even if one is Larry Campbell. I’m sorry but this is America and you may pick and choose as your heart and conscious dictate, not what others say. If you do, you are neither democrat nor republican but rather that mentality is COMMUNIST THINKING.
I am a card carting Republican but I voted for Obama and will do so again. And guess what? I ain’t going to resign!

Listen, do as I do, when you get to the polls, you know that little curtain they got on the booth? Pull it closed and open your eyes and vote your belief not your party. There will be no one knowing except you and God and that’s the American way.

Incidentally, LISA SPRAGUE IS A CARD CARRYING DEMOCRAT she merely ran as a Non Party Candidate.

Some ask me why she did that and I don’t know for sure but I’ll tell you this, when it comes the end of the day this is not a PARTY, IT IS A WAR.
A war between keeping the same ole, same ole or making a difference with a choice, YOUR CHOICE as to whether or not YOU AND I wake up next year after the elections with nothing new. Nothing to be hopeful for. Very Sad that the “GOOD OLE BOYS ARE STILL IN BUSINESS”
