A Tallahassee man busted for child pornography remains behind bars after a judge set bond at $100,000.
34 year old John Crouse, a computer consultant and former member of LCSO’s Mounted Posse, was arrested earlier this week on ten counts of possession of child porn.
Yet arrest papers filed in the case indicate there were approximately 100,000 pictures of chilldren on his computer, in various stages of undress.
The arrest papers say approximately 5,000 of those pictures are pornographic and illegal. It also says there are two lengthy pornographic videos on the computer as well.
The FDLE agent working the case says most of the children are between the ages of seven and 14 and the pictures show them engaged in vaginal, anal and oral sex with adults.
The judge set Crouse’s bond at $100,000, ordered him to wear a GPS monitor and have no unsupervised contact with children under the age of 18.

John Crouse’s mug shot is not being released because he is a law enforcement officer.
A spokesman with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office confirms Crouse was a reserve deputy with its mounted posse until his resignation August 6th. The mounted posse patrols at football games and parades as well as helps to search for missing persons, SGT James McQuaig said.
In his on line profile on LinkedIn, Crouse claims to have full law enforcement standards, worked as an LCSO reserve deputy since March 2008, and worked as a police officer in the Village of Fayette, Ohio from June 2002 until September 2005.
His on line profile also indicates he has more than 14 years in the information technology industry, currently serving as a consultant with WiSys LLC, and formerly as a systems programmer with Florida’s Department of Revenue.
Crouse’s Facebook page indicates he has two young children.

Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Computer Crime Center today (9-15) arrested John Crouse, 34, of Tallahassee and charged him with 10 counts of sexual performance by a child.
Crouse became a suspect during an undercover investigation by FDLE’s Computer Crime Center. During the investigation, an FDLE agent observed an individual using an Internet chat room to share images that showed children in sexual acts. Agents were able to trace back the user to Crouse.
In July, FDLE agents executed a search warrant at Crouse’s home, located at 3234 Allison Marie Court, and located hundreds of images of child pornography.
Crouse was booked into the Leon County Jail. Additional charges are pending a complete forensic examination of all computers located in Crouse’s home
