Exclusive: The Tallahassee O Tribute In Memory To American Patriot Carl Martin

The Tallahassee O Media Group is greatly saddened and disappointed to announce the recent passing of Carl Martin who was dying of cancer.  Carl Martin was a true American Patriot that served with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Posse.  He stated that he had been harassed back in April at his business by LCSO Deputy Jerry Shuler.  Shuler allegedly threatened this man who was sick and dying to make a campaign contribution to Sheriff Larry Campbell’s Re-election.  It was allegedly stated to Martin by Shuler that he had family that worked for the Sheriff’s Office.  Martin took the situation as a threat to him and his family in which he went public with the media and filed a complaint with Internal Affairs and Florida Elections.

The situation was completely white-washed and covered up by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office without any real investigation to the facts of several witnesses.  Furthermore according to our sources within the LCSO, The Attorney For LCSO Alan Griner stated on e-mail to people in the Sheriff’s Office that they are not to talk to Carl Martin in the future.  This was after the complaint was filed against the Sheriff’s Office in which many of his friends avoided speaking with him while he was dying in which they were in fear of retaliation while still working in the Sheriff’s Office if caught.

One man stood up and fought against the cronyism, nepotism and good ol’ boy network of Larry Campbell’s Sheriff’s Office that could have influenced his recent death by all the stress.  We at the Tallahassee O would like to mourn and remember this American Hero for standing up for what was right in which several people have covered up this corruption and violation of election laws.  The Leon County Sheriff’s Office did absolutely nothing in relation to the complaint if you read their bogus investigation in covering up one of the good ol’ boys.  Now that Carl Martin has died, there will never be a proper investigation to the facts in order to bring justice to the LCSO crimes to his knowledge.
