Local Democrats May Not Have Learned Their Lesson
It was not too long ago that the Leon County Democratic Executive Committee (is that really its title?) got hammered for cheating in the 2010 Mayoral election of John Marks. It was found guilty by the Florida Elections Commission for sending out a flyer in the final days of the campaign and it, in essence, manipulated money to do it.
Local races are nonpartisan. On your ballot there are no R’s and no D’s. However, it seems that the local Democratic party is once again targeting City Commission candidate Steve Stewart. Some lessons just are learned harder than others. Below is the rundown (emphasis mine) for tonight’s local meeting. Enjoy and come primary time…remember.
