STATEMENT
On 13 April, 2012 A person identifying himself as Investigator, Scott Angulo, accompanied by two plain clothed officers claiming to be Tallahassee police officers served this complainant with a SEARCH WARRANT & SUBSEQUENTLY SEIZED PROPERTY, COMPUTERS, CAMERAS, ETC. Based on an allegation they claim was made by a woman, identified as Celia Timpany. The Search Warrant stated there was probable cause to seize and search the complainant’s computers etc. because Timpany was the subject of cyber harassment, a misdemeanor. Complainant informed Angulo that Ms Timpany has committed harassment against him by massive emails to business associates, family and friends containing “cheesy” pics of herself that were created with her knowledge and consent aboard the Island Princess Cruise ship where we were both employed in May, 2009. Timpany now claiming the pics of her constituted harassment by complainant, who created them for her three years ago. It is assumed now that she was not offended by them since she has now mass mailed them to at least 60 people known by the complainant, including 5 fellow journalist. Ms. Timpany is a South African national believed to reside in the Channel Islands and works for Princess Cruises. Princes Cruises’ security practices at Port Everglades, Fl is the topic of an investigative report that was announced days before Timpany transmitted harassing emails, and committed criminal acts under Florida Law.
A formal complaint against her has been filed with the Baliwick of Gurnesey, Channel Islands police and with the Bermuda Police where the ship is flagged.
On June 18, 2012 the complainant visited the Leon County Court House and spoke to someone in the Clerk Help Center to obtain a copy of the Search Warrant and accompanying affidavit submitted by the investigating officer, Scott Angulo. The Clerk informed me there is no record of a Search Warrant or case file, or even my name. The copy of the Search Warrant left with complainant clearly states the warrant must be filed with the court clerk within 10 days after being served.
It was not.
Complainant has written the Tallahassee Police Legal Counsel, Rick Courtemanche asking for the return of my property, which contains WORK PRODUCT protected under 42 USC 2000aa)(b) as I am a working journalist and published author of true crime non-fiction books, including SQUEAL, Inside the New England Mafia, and Trail of the Octopus–The Untold Story of Pan Am 103.

This sounds like a repeat of the earlier cases exposing “Bad Cop” conduct in Tallahassee. Why do college towns have dumb-thuggery militant cops on the beat?

Coleman’s book TRAIL OF THE OCTOPUS may be the catalyst behind this latest cult – of – law enforcement attack on him. There is a comment about Coleman’s book on amazon.com., made by a retired cop, Mike Hurley. Former DEA Agent, Micheal T. Hurley was exposed by Coleman in TOTO as one US fed agent who may have unknowingly allowed terrorist to infiltrate security and place a bomb on Pan Am 103 that killed 270 over Lockerbie, Scotland. Hurley ‘s renewed attack against Coleman includes a comment about Celia Timpany’s claim that Coleman harassed her. Obviously Hurley is behind her tirade and the Tallahassee Police serving a search warrant on Coleman. Hurley wrote a book, he had self-published attacking Coleman and his book—-TOTO is now available via Kindle and via amazon.com in the USA. Obviously Hurley is livid and is using Timpany and the Tallahassee Police as willing pawns or duped stooges. City officials should look into this gross misuse of police power and violations of the 1st & 4th Amendments of the US Constitution. It would be interesting to see, under FL sunshine law, the emails and phone records between Hurley, Timpany, and the TPD.

Tracked IP addresses and email traffic link Micheal T. Hurley, (comcast.net) & celia Timpany, the Princess Cruises Hostess who complained about harassment to the Tallahassee Police. Either the TPD were willing servants of Hurley or were misled by him to harass Les Coleman. As of this date, TPD have not filed charges against Coleman, so they may have seen through Hurley’s old spook practice to use local law enforcement to do their dirty work. Time will tell.
