Tallahassee Police Officer Lyle O. Ottley Arrested on Aggravated Assault and Armed Burglary Charges

This is only one of the hypocritical “thugs with a badge” that has been caught of numerous crimes.  It’s time for a Federal Review of The Tallahassee Police Department with the FBI and Department Of Justice. The protection of Tallahassee Citizens also need the enactment of a Real Civilian Review Board in which the joke of Internal Affairs at TPD should be dismantled completely.  The buddies of police policing the police is always ineffective with bias and favoritism of cover-ups and rampant corruption.

This is just another perfect example of all the Rogue Cops With The Tallahassee Police Department running the streets.   Numerous Officers have been arrested, fired and/or resigned for their unethical or illegal actions in just the last five years alone.  Many of these criminal cops are still on the streets with fabrications of evidences, writing false police reports and numerous other crimes.  The leadership has been poor for the last five years in which a new Chief Of Police instead of Dennis Michael Jones is desperately needed with TPD.

The citizens should not stand for these Jack-booted Thugs running the streets like they are above the law.  This repeated harassment and commission of crimes by police officers against the very citizens paying them to protect them needs to stop.  The Tallahassee Police Department needs New Leadership or needs to be shut down entirely to cut down on the police abuses, fraud and waste of tax payers money by thugs.

TALLAHASSEE; Fla (WTXL)– A Tallahassee Police officer has been charged with aggravated assault without the intent to kill and burglary with assault.

Lyle Ottley, 33, has been placed on paid suspension from the Tallahassee Police Department.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Ottley allegedly entered Herman Samuel’s home and threatened him with a gun. The report states that around 2 a.m., Samuel was sleeping next to officer Ottley’s ex-girlfriend Erica Brooks in their home.

Ottley was in uniform at the time when he allegedly banged on the front door and asked for some of their son’s belongings. The officer then entered the home uninvited and went inside the master bedroom, questioning Samuel about why he was there.

Ms. Brooks reportedly ran to a neighboring house owned by another local police man. While Mr. Ottley remained in her home, Ottley allegedly pulled out his hand gun and also punched the wall and bedroom door several times.

Samuel reported that he felt threatened for his life. We spoke to neighbors and they all stated that they had no idea that this had gone on right next door to them.

This is a good Officer and the news report does not reflect what the police report says . Something is not right with this case . None of the details in this news report are listed in the in the police. I have a friend who works for LCSO and they confirmed that the details the News has is not what is in the Police report.

Betty — Many people think a police officer is good until the officer get exposed in the news for an arrest and then convicted for their crimes of being caught. He’s innocent until proven guilty but we find it unlikely that several news sources would reflect inaccurate information to this case as covered all by the Democrat, WCTV and WTXL news as well. It doesn’t seem reasonable that a police officer would come into a home uninvited at 2 Am without a good reason or safety concern. That wouldn’t be right! Several news teams have covered this case so the facts are accurately reported from multiple sources of what we do know. He was certainly arrested and a judge gave him a $40,000 bail stating that he can’t access guns or have contact with the victims for a restaining order in place. The Tallahassee Police Department has shown a long history of dirty cops that are criminals that wear badges. We have covered that fact on our website several times. If he was innocent, it clearly shows that we have internal problems with the LCSO for the false arrest and charging of the case for sake of saying that it was just “made up”. LCSO is only at fault in this case if he is innocent. We will have to wait and see but the news reports don’t look good for this officer. Regardless of guilt or innocence of this man, it shows that we have a problem with our local law enforcement officers. The fact that he is a police officer and actually got arrested would seem to show that he’s probably guilty because most people don’t have the cover-ups and special privileges of police. Most jobs would not be giving him paid leave after getting arrested except for places like TPD that cater to criminals on the tax payer’s dollars.
