Leon County Florida Sheriff Deputy Mark Thompson Severely Beat His Wife, Lack Of Proper Dept. Oversight

A Leon County deputy, Mark Thompson, severely beat his wife.  The deputy received an award from Sheriff Larry Campbell prior to beating.  How long was this abuser able to operate under the watch of Sheriff Larry Campbell before being exposed by the beaten wife living to tell the story of who beat her? 

Good men and women are ignored at LCSO for good deeds but the wife beaters receive awards.

This Sheriff’s Department has a clear history that shows a need for a new Sheriff with new leadership and new ideas for a proper oversight of these deputies being hired that are criminal jack-booted thugs with badges that should be in jail.
